There is a Light that shines beyond all things on earth, beyond us all, beyond the heavens, beyond the highest, the very highest heavens. This is the Light that shines in our heart.

This is a beautiful quote....please leave your comments
This is the same Light that shone in the hearts of those 15 young men who attacked Mumbai on the evening of the 27th November 2008 and murdered hundreds of people. In the Bhagvad Gita Krishna urges Arjun to do his duty and slay his uncles and cousins lined up against him. As we love Krishna and Arjun so must we love those 15 young men. "Forgive them Father, they know not what they do" - Jesus. For those of us who can, let our Love Light grow. Let us visualise/know it surrounds our beloved Mother, and cleanses her, heals her and her children. We are of this Earth, we are human. The highest "God" is the highest "Human" - in Love. At least this is how I see it.
With love to Nandini, a very special person, who showed me a wild elephant across the Ganga at Rishikesh :-)
Thank you Vir,
If we all 'Let our Love Light grow, then there will be truly peace on Earth.
Many Blessings Nandini
I love the meaning of the word Namaste - "I honor the place in you
in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you
which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace, When you are in that place in you,and I am in that place in me, we are One".
The 14th card of the major Arcana in the Osho Tarot is Integration, the merger of Light & Darkness; the endless cycle, the seed of one in the other. When I see the division of Sati into the 10 Mahavidhyas, they merger into my sweetest Kali and her blissful union with Shiva, it is so easy to understand Love. Every thing is possible with Love, because Love allows everything to happen :-) I wish to accept that the Light is Love; and Will, is will-ing-ness to allow creativity, evolution, expansion, .... et all which is again only possible in Love. Makes sense to me, this Light :-)
Namaste !
This is the Light of the Atman. The light that shines at the dawn of knowledge and Self Experience.
It is ever existent!!
Namaste' Nandini and All
Firstly a whole heartedly Aho (that means I agree) to all that has been said.
That light that you speak of is what I and some others call the Black Light when we crawl into a Sweat Lodge to do an Inipi (cleansing) Ceremony. When that Black Light comes in we are cleansed physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. When we come out we are like new born babies; full of spirit and innocence; and clean of all the things that hinder us from experiencing the divine in everything and everyone.
I make the point of the Black Light because the concept of love and light or white light or even black light for that matter are dual. Some experience love as its opposite, hate, and that is their choice. Also light has the opposite of dark, to me both are sacred and both are ‘Heaven Sent’, but I grant you that the experience is possibly best described in our language as love, or better still awesome.
There is no limit to the illumination and enlightenment that can come from this Black Light if one is open enough (has their heart open), dedicated enough, and sincere enough.
Incorporated in the one main teaching tool I have adapted from the Native Americans, The Medicine Wheel, is the teaching that we must recognise and acknowledge what is called the Black Road, because if we don’t it will influence us unconsciously; and then we must ‘Follow the Good Red Road’.
May the light and darkness be known in your hearts and guide you all on the Good Red Road.

Yours in Spirit
